Can I use my home address as my business address?

Yes, but we don’t recommend it. The business address on your Articles of Organization or Trade Name application will go on the public record. Anyone will be able to find it by searching the Colorado Business Database. At worst this is a safety hazard. At best you’ll just receive a mountain of junk mail.

Using a mail forwarding service is an affordable and convenient way to get a business address you can use in place of your home address.

Can I use a virtual mailbox as a physical address?

Yes, as long as the virtual address is connected to a real, physical street address in Colorado. The business address you get from us belongs to our office building in Denver, which we own, so you can use it as a physical address on state forms.

Can I get physical mail forwarded to me?

Yes. If you need a physical mail document sent to you, such as a check or money order, you can request it for a small fee.

What if I go over my mail scan limit?

We will keep accepting and scanning your mail even if you go over your limit. To view additional mail scans, you’ll need to pay a $15 per document fee. Can I add Mail Forwarding to my business formation or registered agent service?

Yes! You can add Mail Forwarding as an optional service when you order business formation or registered agent service. Mail Forwarding is also available as a standalone service.

Can I use your Mail Forwarding service if I’m not a business owner?

Yes! While most of our clients are business owners, you can also get Mail Forwarding for your personal mail. Simply select “Individual” instead of “Business” on the order form.
